Small two tier cake 4 inch and 6 inch dark chocolate mudcake with peanut butter ganache covered with fondant, rice paper feathers and a sprinkle of glitter. All edible.
wow!!!! i want to have a go at making my wedding cake look like that but with more tiers how do you get the rice paper to stand up and go in different directions without wilting and what dk you use to attach the rice paper to the fondant?
I have had a cake obssession for as long as I can remember and have been baking cakes all my life. My cake making has been stepped up in recent years due to the fact now I have a family of 5 children. Many birthday cakes to make! I look forward to each birthday and the challenge each brings when they tell me what they would like. I also make cakes for friends as well. I just love to bake!
I am trained as a Home Economics Teacher but have long since left that position many many years ago to have children.
I hope that you enjoy my posts as much as I enjoy baking and showing them off. So much time, effort and love goes into baking/cooking that it is a shame not to share it!

What a great looking cake
Thanks Linda, my first go at a feather cake. I was happy with how it turned out.

Hi, I use royal icing to attach to the fondant. As long as you have no moisture it will not wilt. Goodluck with the wedding!
