Building Blocks Birthday Cakes

These were made for my son who was having a lego birthday party.  So the theme was building blocks.  All edible.  Two cakes were made one for him to take to school and one for his party.  One is a double layer zebra cake and the other a double layer vanilla cake with buttercream and covered in fondant.  The building blocks are rice bubble bars covered in fondant.

40th Birthday Jeweled Cake

I finally had the occassion to try it out. Thanks to Anna and Maria who helped me to make the jewellery!


Chocolate mudcake with chocolate ganache covered in Tiffany Blue fondant and white swirls. Handmade cake jewellery with real crystals, beads and diamontes. Afterwards the wires will be bent so they can be used as a keepsake or Christmas decorations for the birthday girl.
