- I have had a cake obssession for as long as I can remember and have been baking cakes all my life. My cake making has been stepped up in recent years due to the fact now I have a family of 5 children. Many birthday cakes to make! I look forward to each birthday and the challenge each brings when they tell me what they would like. I also make cakes for friends as well. I just love to bake! I am trained as a Home Economics Teacher but have long since left that position many many years ago to have children. I hope that you enjoy my posts as much as I enjoy baking and showing them off. So much time, effort and love goes into baking/cooking that it is a shame not to share it!

This one's absolutely amazing. I've seen Maggie Austin cakes before, and was looking for any others who knew those techniques for white chocolate shavings and ruffles. Again, hopefully you'll be interested in sharing! ;-)
